Kristof Vandewalle (Omega Pharma-Quick Step) est devenu aujourd'hui le nouveau champion de Belgique du contre-la-montre, titre qu'il a acquis aux bords des Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure. Il s'est imposé devant Ben Hermans (Radioshack-Nissan) et Philippe Gilbert (BMC Racing Team). Vandewalle succède à Philippe Gilbert au palmarès de l'épreuve.
